Weather Update - December 31, 2025
Happy New Year Georgian Bluffs! As we ring in 2026, we’re experiencing significant winter weather across the Township.
Weather Update
Environment Canada has issued a snow squall warning, with 30–70 cm of snow expected, and locally higher amounts possible. Near-zero visibility is occurring at times, and conditions may continue into Thursday in some areas.
Road Conditions
The Township remains under a Significant Weather Event Declaration. Plows are on the roads, but due to the volume of snow, it may take longer than usual for roads to return to normal winter maintenance standards. Please avoid travel unless necessary and use extreme caution if driving.
Thank you for your patience and cooperation as crews work through this weather event. Please stay safe and warm.
Holiday Office Closure
The Georgian Bluffs Township offices are closed for the holidays from noon on Wednesday, December 24, 2025, until Friday, January 2, 2026. Regular business hours will resume on Monday, January 5, 2026, at 9 a.m.
