Trail Flooding Notice

Due to warm temperatures and high precipitation, trails in some areas of Georgian Bluffs have become flooded. This includes the Indian Falls Conservation Area and Georgian Bluffs Multi-Use Trail. As water levels remain high, please use extra caution and avoid flooded areas.

Road Work Notice: Kemble Rock Road

The Township will be completing roadside ditching work along Kemble Rock Road, south of Concession 20, in the village of Kemble from January 9th to 18th, 2023 (weather dependent).
The road will remain open, however there may be traffic delays so please allow extra time for travel. Heavy equipment will be present in the area, and we ask all drivers to be patient and use extra caution as this work is completed.

Calendar Correction: Waste Schedule

We would like to issue a correction to the legend for the waste pickup days in the 2023 calendar. As per the map on the month of February, Derby's recycling pickup schedule is indicated in BLUE and Sarawak is indicated in GREEN.
Please disregard the legend on the bottom of the calendar months for Sarawak/Derby. You may also download a revised copy of the 2023 calendar.
Apologies for any confusion this may have caused.

Significant Weather Event Ended
Township of Georgian Bluffs – December 29, 2022
The Significant Weather Event declared by the Township of Georgian Bluffs on Thursday, December 22 has now ended. After significant effort by operations staff, and bringing in additional heavy equipment, all Township roads have now been made passable. Work is continuing to bring them up to standard.

Curb Coyotes – Protect Your Pets

Following a fatal attack on a pet in the Brooke neighbourhood of Georgian Bluffs earlier this week, the Township would like to advise residents to be on the lookout for coyote activity, and to take extra care when pets are outdoors.
You can help keep your neighbourhood safe by:
- Ensuring trash is covered, and that any pet food is kept indoors.
- Never feeding wildlife, and removing fallen fruit from yards and gardens.
- Always supervising your pets when outdoors, following leash laws, and keeping pets...
