You are invited to join the Township of Georgian Bluffs at the Big Bay dock on the morning of July 1st for a pancake breakfast and flag raising to start your Canada Day off right!

Calling all pickleball fans and curious beginners! Georgian Bluffs is thrilled to announce the addition of drop-in pickleball to our recreation spaces starting Monday, June 12. We have prepared three arenas for new and seasoned pickleball enthusiasts to enjoy one of the fastest-growing sports in Canada.
Drop-in pickleball sessions will take place from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at these locations:
- Mondays: Kemble Arena
- Tuesdays: Shallow Lake Arena
- Wednesdays: Kilsyth Arena

West Street is now open, with some asphalt repairs to follow at a later date.
UPDATE -Thursday, June 1, 2023
Effective immediately, the closure of West Street north of Grey Road 17B has been revised to a partial lane closure, reducing it to one lane until Monday, June 5th. Following this, from Monday to Thursday of next week there will be a full closure for repairs.

Fire Ban Issued for the Township of Georgian Bluffs

The Township of Georgian Bluffs is implementing a total FIRE BAN, effective immediately, due to increased fire risk and hazardous conditions. The safety and well-being of our residents and the preservation of our community are our top priorities.
Under this fire ban, the following activities are STRICTLY PROHIBITED until further notice:
- Campfires and recreational fires.
- Open-air burning of any kind, including brush clearing, burn barrels, chimineas, and fire pits.

Currently there is NOT an open-air fire ban in place in Grey County.
The fire hazard rating throughout the province is high to extreme.
The Grey County Fire Chiefs are monitoring / evaluating conditions daily.
