As of Friday July 7th, the Township of Georgian Bluffs will begin the annual dust suppressant application program on gravel roads across the community.
Applying the calcium chloride dust suppressant to gravel roads helps reduce the amount of dust generated from passing vehicles during the dry summer months. Please be advised that Somers Street in Georgian Bluffs will be closed daily between 27th Street and 30th Street from Tuesday, July 4th to Thursday, July 6, 2023, weather permitting.
The road will be closed, allowing local traffic only, between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. as excavation work is underway.
