Sidewalk Replacement to Begin in Shallow Lake

Work to replace the sidewalks on 1st Street, 2nd Street, and Noble Street in Shallow Lake will begin on Monday, April 29, 2024.
This project, being undertaken by C & G Concrete, is expected to be completed near the end of June, weather dependant. Construction will generally take place from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on weekdays, with some weekend work as required.

Yesterday morning, representatives from across Grey County attended a delegation at the Ontario Good Roads Association (OGRA) Conference in Toronto to make the case for additional funding for critical municipal infrastructure.

As the due date for the second installment of the 2024 Interim Tax Bill approaches on April 24th, remember there are many ways to pay your tax bill.

The successful FoodCycler Pilot Program is back for 2024, with 200 indoor composters now available for purchase.
In 2023, the Township partnered with Food Cycle Science to offer this innovative indoor composting technology to 100 residents at a discounted rate, testing the utility of FoodCyclers to compost food waste and divert it from landfills.
