Proof of Vaccination Required at Township Recreation Facilities

As directed by the Province of Ontario, and in accordance with O. Reg. 364/20 Section 2.1 of Schedule 1, individuals entering recreational facilities within the Township must show identification and proof of two doses of an authorized COVID-19 vaccination, effective September 22, 2021. Recreation facilities include the Shallow Lake Community Centre, Derby Community Centre, and the Kemble Arena.

Facility users who are 12 years of age or older must show proof of vaccination to access:

• Recreation programs and activities (excluding organized sports)
• Spectator and viewing areas
• Sporting events
• Meeting and event spaces

To download your vaccine receipt online, visit https://covid-19.ontario.ca/proof-covid-19-vaccination. You will need your green health card and postal code. If you have a red and white health card or do not have a health card, call 1-833-943-3900 for assistance.

All other guidelines and regulations remain in effect including mask requirements, physical distancing, and capacity limits.
