StreetScan Tour of Georgian Bluffs to Start Next Week

Starting on Tuesday, May 23, StreetScan vehicles will be seen throughout Georgian Bluffs gathering data on the condition of the Township’s road network.

Georgian Bluffs has partnered with StreetScan, a Montreal-based company that specializes in street assessments, on this project. StreetScan uses both scooter-mounted and vehicle-mounted technology, including specialized sensors and cameras, to assess sidewalk and road conditions. This will determine the health of each stretch of our road network, to help prioritize where maintenance and repairs are needed most.

The work will continue through the months of May and June.
