Township of Georgian Bluffs Welcomes Chief Administrative Officer
After a thorough recruitment and selection process, the Township of Georgian Bluffs is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Al Meneses as Chief Administrative Officer.
With over 30 years of experience, roughly split equally between the private and public sector, and progressively more senior roles in the public sector, Al will be joining Georgian Bluffs on December 14, 2020 as the Township’s new CAO. In his most recent public sector role, Al was the Commissioner of Community Services at the City of Brampton, responsible for overseeing a large portfolio of service offerings that residents valued.
In anticipation of his new role, Al noted:
I am excited to be joining Georgian Bluffs and helping Council achieve the community’s goals and priorities. My interaction with Council and staff has been very positive and my family and I are excited to start this new chapter in our lives. I would like to thank Mayor Burley and all of Council for their trust and confidence as their commitment to the people of Georgian Bluffs is second to none. I would also like to acknowledge Kassandra Rocca and all the staff during this transition period for their leadership, professionalism and dedication to serving the community.
Council and staff are excited to welcome Mr. Meneses to the Georgian Bluffs community, as we continue to strive for excellence.
