Partial Burn Ban – In Effect Now
The Inter Township Fire Department has issued a partial open air burn ban, effective immediately, due to ongoing hot, dry weather. The ban will remain until conditions improve.
Prohibited:
Burning brush, wood, or yard waste, Demolition burns,Agricultural or industrial burns, Burn barrels, and Fireworks & sparklers.
Allowed:
Small, supervised campfires for cooking or warmth in permitted fire pits or outdoor fireplaces.
All open-air burn permits are suspended and no new permits will be issued.
