Georgian Bluffs is upgrading water meters in your neighbourhood to make sure your water bills stay accurate and up to date. We’ve partnered with Neptune Technology Group to complete this work, and you should receive a notice in the mail to book your replacement.

You are invited to celebrate the start of 2026 at the Mayor and Council New Year’s Levee on Sunday, January 11, at the Shallow Lake Community Centre. The event will feature a free public skate and refreshments, running from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Beginning January 1, 2026, the Province of Ontario will take over responsibility for residential recycling collection. The Township will no longer provide recycling services. Instead, recycling collection will be managed by Circular Materials Ontario (CMO) on behalf of producers.

Georgian Bluffs has reviewed the 2026 Mayor’s Budget, with a proposed 4.76% municipal tax rate increase. The 2026 budget includes $28.4 million in investment in Township infrastructure and services, inlcuding many major capital projects.
