Community Event Partnership Opportunities

Partnering with Georgian Bluffs on community events is an opportunity to connect your business with the people, places, and experiences that make our community thrive. Events attract residents, visitors, and families from across the region, offering meaningful exposure through trusted municipal channels, high-traffic gatherings, and year-round promotion.

By becoming an event partner, your business gains valuable visibility while demonstrating a commitment to community building, local pride, and economic growth in Georgian Bluffs.


Partnership Tiers

To provide flexibility for businesses of all sizes, three sponsorship tiers (Gold, Silver, and Bronze) are available, each designed to align with your level of investment and desired reach. Whether you’re looking for year-round visibility across all Township events or a targeted presence at a single community gathering, each tier offers a range of promotional benefits and engagement opportunities to help you make an impact.

$2,500 contribution

Eligibility: Sponsor supports all Township-hosted events for the calendar year.

Benefits: 

  • Logo placement on all event promotional materials (e.g., posters, flyers, website, social media posts), 
  • Mentions in news advisories and radio promotions, 
  • Recognition and mentions at event (s) where applicable and appropriate, 
  • Opportunity to set up a vendor booth during the event (s), 
  • One sponsored Public Skate at Shallow Lake Arena, 
  • Shallow Lake Arena Wall or Dasher Board Advertisement, signage provided by the Sponsor as per the Township’s Community Centre Advertising Policy. 

$1,000 contribution

Eligibility: Sponsor supports three (3) Township-hosted events of their choice within the calendar year.

Benefits:

  • Logo placement on all event promotional materials (e.g., posters, flyers, website, social media posts) for each of the three events, 
  • Mentions in news advisories where applicable and appropriate,
  • Recognition and mentions at chosen event (s) where applicable and appropriate,
  • Opportunity to set up a vendor booth during the event (s).

$400 contribution

Eligibility: Sponsor supports one (1) Township-hosted event of their choice within the calendar year.

Benefits:

  • Logo placement on all event promotional materials (e.g., posters, flyers, website, social media posts),
  • Mentions in news advisories where applicable and appropriate,
  • Recognition and mentions at chosen event where applicable and appropriate,
  • Opportunity to set up a vendor booth during the event. 

 

In-kind donations are different than monetary donations. It is a product or service in lieu of cash and, in most cases, a much needed and appreciated form of donation. Donations in-kind for event (s) are specific to event themes and programs.

We are accepting appropriate in-kind donations such as:

  • Vegetable/cold cut/meat/cheese or fruit trays, sandwiches delivered to site, Pop/water/juice, Fresh fruit, Tea or Coffee, tea condiments, or desserts, etc.
  • Art supplies, lawn games, entertainment activities, flowers, etc.

Sponsorship Pricing and General Provisions:

  • Sponsorship tier pricing is determined annually and may vary based on event scope, audience reach, and promotional opportunities.  
  • Recognition for all sponsorship tiers will be proportional to the value of the contribution and consistent with Township branding and communication standards. 
  • Events sponsorship applies to selected events and community initiatives offered by the Township of Georgian Bluffs and may not include partnership events.  
  • All recognition is subject to Township branding guidelines and space availability. The Township reserves the right to adjust recognition elements to ensure alignment with community standards and event logistics.
