Discover Local Farms and Flavours at Georgian Bluffs’ 2025 Farm Crawl

Grab your boots, baskets, and sense of adventure for Georgian Bluffs’ first ever Farm Crawl. Spend the day exploring farms, stands, and homesteads across the Township, meeting local farmers, and discovering the variety of food, products, and experiences our community has to offer. The event takes place Saturday, August 23, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

This self-guided, family-friendly driving tour offers a behind-the-scenes look at our agricultural community. From fragrant lavender fields to playful goats, and bison herds to homemade candles, the Farm Crawl is a celebration of local agriculture and the people who make it thrive.

You can use the Interactive Farm Crawl Map and Farm Crawl Passport to explore at your own pace. Collect a hole punch at each stop, and those who visit at least 3 locations can enter to win a Bluffs Basket filled with local goodies. Passports can be printed at home or picked up at any participating location.

This year’s participating stops include:

• Bluewater Lavender Farm – 441016 Elm St, Georgian Bluffs
  Family-run farm growing five varieties of English and French lavender. Shop handmade lavender products and enjoy optional farm tours.
• Farm on the Lake – 170404 Centre Rd, Georgian Bluffs
  Meet the goats! Pet and feed mama goats, interact with baby goat kids, and browse farm souvenirs.
• G.R.A.C.E. Riding – 223047 Grey Road 17B, Owen Sound
  Therapeutic horseback riding programs for youth and adults with physical, mental, and emotional challenges. Visitors can tour the facility and meet therapy horses.
• Snowy Creek Bison – 259105 Sarawak Keppel Townline, Kemble
  See grass-fed, pasture-raised Plains Bison and shop premium bison meat in the farm store.
• The Candle Barn – 062681 Sunny Valley Rd, Owen Sound
  Hand-poured candles, wax melts, home décor, and locally made fudge — all crafted in their barn-based “Candle Loft.”
• Barn on the Bluffs – 178841 Grey Rd 17, Shallow Lake
  Fresh sweet corn, beans, beets, flowers, homemade baking, and farm-fresh eggs from this small family hobby farm.
• Outrange Homestead – 298498 Range Rd, Owen Sound
  Farmstand stocked with homemade preserves, jams, baked goods, frozen pies, goat milk lotion, and tallow balm — plus a lemonade stand for the day of the crawl.

The Farm Crawl is a chance to explore the Township’s rural roads, connect with local producers, and enjoy the variety of food, goods, and experiences that make Georgian Bluffs unique. This event is made possible with the generous support of Eh! Tel Networks and Hutten & Co. Land and Shore.
