Georgian Bluffs Lowers Flags in Memory of Local Students

Georgian Bluffs has lowered flags to half-mast at the Township Office and Shallow Lake Arena to honour the lives of three local students who tragically passed away in a motor vehicle collision near Durham on Tuesday, November 12.

Our hearts are with the families, friends, and school communities affected by this unimaginable loss. We extend our deepest condolences to all who are grieving.

Flags will remain lowered until sunset on the day of the students’ funeral services, as a sign of collective mourning and support.

The Township stands with the Bluewater District School Board and the greater community during this difficult time. We encourage residents to keep the families in their thoughts and to support one another with kindness and care in the days ahead.
