Longest Day of Play Brings Summer Fun to Georgian Bluffs

Georgian Bluffs invites families and community members to come together for a full day of outdoor fun as the Township hosts its first-ever Longest Day of Play at Sarawak Family Park on Saturday, June 21, 2025. The event will run from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM and features a wide variety of free activities for all ages in celebration of the start of summer.

Visitors can enjoy inflatable games, family activities, paddleboard lessons, balloon twisting, and more, along with live music by Nuclear Vibes. Special appearances from Petunia the Clown and Big Bay’s Paddy Wagon will add to the day’s festive atmosphere. With the event taking place right along the scenic shoreline, it’s a great chance to spend time outdoors and connect with others in the community.

As on-site parking at Sarawak Family Park is not available, free shuttle service will be available courtesy of Martins Transit. Shuttles will run throughout the event, picking up at Keppel-Sarawak School at the top of each hour and at Indian Falls at the bottom of each hour, with return trips operating regularly until 3:00 PM.

Paddleboard lessons will be offered throughout the day by iSUP Saugeen Mobile Surf Shop. Sessions are free, first come first served, and limited to 8 participants per group. Lessons are scheduled as follows:

• 10:00 AM – Kids Course (ages 5–8, 30 minutes)
• 11:00 AM – Youth Course (ages 9–18, 30 minutes)
• 12:00 PM – Beginner Course (40 minutes)
• 1:00 PM – Advanced Course (40 minutes)
• 2:00 PM – Open Drop-In Session (40 minutes)

Participants are encouraged to bring swimwear, a towel, sun protection, a change of clothes, and anything else they may need to feel comfortable on the water.
