Watch for Water on Roads During Spring Thaw

Georgian Bluffs is reminding drivers to use caution on local roads as spring thaw and recent precipitation has lead to water pooling on roadways and soft road conditions.

Please slow down and watch for water over the road, standing water, and other changing conditions. Gravel roads in particular are soft and wet during this time of year, which can make travel more difficult.

At this time, the following roads are closed due to flooding and road conditions:

• Coles Sideroad
• Zion Church Road
• A Line
• Sarawak Keppel Townline
• Concession 14 West of Hindman

Township crews are monitoring road conditions closely. Please report any concerns such as washouts, flooding, or unsafe road conditions through Contact GB so they can be addressed as quickly as possible.

Drivers are encouraged to check Municipal 511 for current road closures and conditions before travelling.
