Sidewalk replacement work is underway in two areas of the Township. Sidewalks in the following locations will be closed for the remainder of the week while repairs are completed:

• North side of Highway 6 & 21 (Sunset Strip), west of The Bowling Alley
• South side of Cobble Beach Drive, between Algoma Crescent and McLeese Drive

As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and reliable water supply, the Ontario Clean Water Agency will be conducting annual fire hydrant flushing and testing from October 15, 2025 to November 30, 2025.

Residents in the Presqu’ile area of Georgian Bluffs are advised of a planned water service disruption on Thursday, June 12, 2025, between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., due to essential repairs to the Presqu’ile Booster Station water trunk main.

PUBLIC NOTICE OF PESTICIDE USE

The public hearings originally scheduled for this evening regarding Zoning By-law Amendments Z01/25 (Moore) and Z02/25 (Sparano) have been rescheduled.

Council is seeking applications from interested Georgian Bluffs residents to fill three (3) to five (5) positions on the 2026-2030 Council Remuneration Committee.

The Georgian Bluffs Council meeting scheduled for Wednesday, February 12, 2025, will be held fully virtually, with no in-person participation in Council Chambers, due to the forecasted weather.

The meeting will begin at 5:00 p.m. and will be live-streamed as always on our YouTube channel at www.youtube.com/@georgianbluffscouncil, allowing you to stay engaged from the comfort of your home. The agenda for the meeting is available on our Council Portal.

TAKE NOTICE THAT a Special County of Grey Joint All Councils meeting will be held jointly with the County of Grey and the municipalities of the Town of the Blue Mountains, City of Owen Sound, Township of Georgian Bluffs, Municipality of Meaford, Township of Chatsworth, Municipality of Grey Highlands, Town of Hanover, Municipality of West Grey, and Township of Southgate on March 21, 2025 commencing electronically at 10:00 a.m. and live streamed to the County of Grey YouTube Channel regarding centralized planning services.
