As the Canada Post strike impacts mail delivery times, Georgian Bluffs is reminding residents of alternate payment methods to ensure timely processing of tax and water bill payments. 

Georgian Bluffs Council reviewed and provided direction on the 2025 draft budget this week, emphasizing strategic investments in infrastructure and community enhancements.

The Township is holding an Open House to gather your input on the Draft Community Improvement Plan. The purpose of the Open House is to provide an opportunity to review the draft document, ask questions, and provide feedback on the proposed updates.

Georgian Bluffs has officially reduced the speed limit on Vault Works Road to 60 km/h. This change comes in response to community feedback and follows a speed limit review that was undertaken in summer.

Regular flushing is part of the best practices of a comprehensive water management program.  During normal use, water moves slowly through the water distribution system and may cause naturally occurring sediment to accumulate in the pipes.

The Inter Township Fire Department (ITFD) honoured its firefighters during the 2024 Years of Service Awards on Saturday, September 14. This year’s ceremony celebrated a combined 90 years of service to the Georgian Bluffs and Meaford communities.

Georgian Bluffs is commemorating the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation on September 30 by flying the Every Child Matters flag throughout the month of September. Flying the flag symbolizes the Township's ongoing support for truth, reconciliation, and remembrance.

Georgian Bluffs is excited to announce that the highly successful FoodCycler Program is back, with 100 new units now available for purchase.

In 2023, Georgian Bluffs partnered with Food Cycle Science to introduce this innovative indoor composting technology to the community, helping to divert food waste from landfills.
