The 2025 Owen Sound Attack Training Camp is in full swing at the Shallow Lake and District Community Centre this week, and the excitement is contagious.

The Inter Township Fire Department has lifted the partial open air burn ban, effective immediately, following recent improvements in weather and ground conditions.

An unplanned disruption to water service has occurred in the Oxenden water system. Ontario Clean Water Agency (OCWA) crews are actively working to restore service as soon as possible.

Spend the day exploring farms, stands, and homesteads across the Township, meeting local farmers, and discovering the variety of food, products, and experiences our community has to offer. The event takes place Saturday, August 23, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Georgian Bluffs has been notified that waste pickup was missed on Monday, July 21, on Drive In Crescent. Waste Management will be returning today, July 22, to collect waste from the affected area.

Waste Management has advised that collection is running behind schedule today. Crews will be working later than usual, with service continuing until 7:00 p.m.

If your waste has not yet been collected, please leave it at the curb. Thank you for your patience and understanding as they complete the route.

Summer Movie Nights are back! Georgian Bluffs is hosting two outdoor film screenings this August, open to all and free to attend. This year’s outdoor movie series will feature two family films at locations across the township.
