Georgian Bluffs Council has appointed Brittany Drury as Interim Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), effective immediately, following the departure of former CAO Niall Lobley, who has accepted the role of Deputy CAO with Grey County.

Georgian Bluffs and the Inter Township Fire Department have launched a new, easy-to-use online portal for burn permits. Starting this spring, all residents are asked to register for their burn permits at georgianbluffs.burnpermits.com. Permits are free of charge and available 24/7 from any computer or mobile device.

The public hearings originally scheduled for this evening regarding Zoning By-law Amendments Z01/25 (Moore) and Z02/25 (Sparano) have been rescheduled.

Georgian Bluffs is inviting residents to take part in No Mow May, a growing movement to support bees, butterflies, and other pollinators by letting lawns grow a little wilder this spring.

Georgian Bluffs is still seeking applications from interested residents to fill three (3) to five (5) positions on the 2026-2030 Council Remuneration Committee. The application deadline has been extended by two weeks, so there is still time to get your application in and get involved!

With spring now in full swing, Georgian Bluffs has launched its annual gravel road maintenance program, with a focus on improving drainage, restoring road structure, and repairing winter wear.

Georgian Bluffs Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) Niall Lobley will be moving on from his position with the Township to take on a new role as Deputy CAO with Grey County as of May 20, 2025.

Township staff got their gloves dirty and their steps in today, joining in the #TrashtagGB community clean-up challenge with a spring sweep of the Georgian Bluffs Rail Trail.
