Road Maintenance: Grading and Calcium

Georgian Bluffs is grading gravel roads and applying calcium chloride dust suppressant across the Township over the next two weeks.

Dust suppressant helps reduce airborne dust, improves visibility for drivers, and supports the maintenance of gravel road surfaces during the summer months. Work will be completed by Township crews, weather permitting.

Temporary delays may occur while work is underway. The Township asks all road users to exercise caution when travelling through active work zones. Reduced speeds help protect workers, equipment operators, and other drivers.

Freshly treated roads may remain damp for a short period following application. Drivers should use caution and adjust their speed to match road conditions.
