Notice: Shallow Lake Community Centre & Ball Diamond Washrooms Closed for Renovations

Construction work has officially begun on the Washroom Renovation Project at the Shallow Lake Community Centre & Ball Diamond. These upgrades are designed to improve accessibility, functionality, and overall user experience for residents and visitors who use the facilities throughout the year.

During the construction period, there will be limited access to the community centre’s main floor washroom facilities; guests are instructed to use the washrooms located on the second floor of the community centre. The Shallow Lake Ball Diamond washroom facilities will also be closed during renovations; the Township has provided portable toilets for the duration of the disruption. Efforts will be made to minimize inconvenience and maintain a safe environment for all community centre users.

The renovation project will modernize the washroom facilities, helping to ensure they continue to meet the needs of the community and guests for years to come. Construction is set to wrap up by the end of Summer 2026.

Community members are encouraged to follow posted signage and any temporary access arrangements while work is underway.
