Notice: Speed Limit Reduction on Vault Works Road Now in Effect

Georgian Bluffs has officially reduced the speed limit on Vault Works Road to 60 km/h. This change comes in response to community feedback and follows a speed limit review that was undertaken in summer.

Vault Works Road, a rural local road connecting West Street and Grey Road 17, previously had a speed limit of 80 km/h. Local community expressed concerns about the speed and consistency with limits on adjacent local roads, such as West Street and Girl Guide Road.

Drivers are encouraged to observe the new speed limit to ensure the continued safety of residents, pedestrians, and cyclists. The change is now in effect, with new signage in place.
