Serve on the 2026-2030 Council Remuneration Committee

Council is seeking applications from interested Georgian Bluffs residents to fill three (3) to five (5) positions on the 2026-2030 Council Remuneration Committee.

The Council Remuneration Committee will undertake a review of Council compensation for the upcoming term and make recommendations on salary, benefits, professional development allowances, and hourly rates for attendance at special events.

Committee Objectives

Conduct a review of council compensation at surrounding municipalities and interview current serving members of Council.
Prepare and present a report to Council recommending changes to the Policy before December 31, 2025.

Requirements

Reside in or own property in the Township of Georgian Bluffs.
Experience and expertise in areas such as municipal government, human resources, and or finance.
Able to attend monthly meetings, and access to a computer to participate in meetings and review meeting materials.
