Waste Management previously communicated to residents remaining on manual collection that they would receive a weekly Organics collection service. Waste Management has now updated the Township that the service will not be provided.

Small & Private Roads Waste Collection

The following small/ private roads are ineligible for the new cart-based waste collection program due to road constraints. These roads will continue with the manual collection program on Fridays, with weekly garbage and bi-weekly recycling. Bag tags are not required for collection. All property owners that are impacted have been contacted directly by mail with further information about their collection.

Francis Drive, North of Spencer Street
Mallard Street & Spencer Street, off of Grey Road 1

North Bass Lake Road, Sutherland Road, Grey Road 17, and Lakeview Drive in the Bass Lake area.

Waste Management Update: Shepard Lake Road

Waste Management has updated the Township that Shepard Lake Road will be changing to Cart-based Collection. Shepard Lake Road was originally on the list of roads staying with Manual Collection. If you are a resident on Shepard Lake Road with questions or comments regarding this update, please contact Waste Management directly (contact information below)
