Leak Detection |
Did you know that a leaky toilet can waste between 750 to 1,000 litres of water per day? A leak like this can triple or quadruple your water bill. The worst part is it leaves no trace! To check if your toilets are leaking and costing you money try this simple trick. 1) Remove the lid from the top of your tank. Things that you can do: 1) Check that the chain is not too tight that it is preventing the flapper from sealing properly. |
Drinking Water Quality |
In order to meet the requirements of Justice O'Connor's report, the Ministry of the Environment has developed the Drinking Water Municipal Licensing Program.
Under this program each Municipality must develop and implement a Quality Management System (QMS). A QMS can be expressed as the organizational structure, procedures, processes and resources needed to implement quality management and services for our water systems. The General public can view the Township's QMS at the municipal office. The annual water reports for the Township of Georgian Bluffs Treatment Plants and distribution networks may be read at the municipal office. 2022 Annual Drinking Water Report (Schedule 11) 2022 Annual Drinking Water Summary Report (Schedule 22) 2021 Annual Drinking Water Report (Schedule 11) 2021 Annual Drinking Water Summary Report (Schedule 22) |
