Fraudulent Emails Requesting Payments
Georgian Bluffs is aware of fraudulent emails circulating, particularly those imitating our Planning Department and requesting extra planning fee payments.
We encourage residents to remain cautious as these emails may appear legitimate and imitate municipal information. However, Georgian Bluffs will never request payment through an e-transfer or wire transfer. Cheques and walk in traffic is always welcome at our Admin Office. Emails from our municipal staff will end in @georgianbluffs.ca.
If you have any doubts about the legitimacy of an email or payment request, please contact us directly using authentic contact information available on our website.
Starting Summer of 2026
On July 6, 2026, curbside waste pick up changed to wheeled carts for garbage, recycling, and organics collection. Garbage collection has moved to bi-weekly pickup, and bag tags have been eliminated.
Collection days have also changed with the move to a more streamlined system. Below you will find more information about what these changes mean for you.
