Commissioning Services
Georgian Bluffs provides Commissioner of Oaths services. To have a document commissioned, all individuals must be present and have a valid photo ID.
Commissioning services are provided Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., at the Township Office. The fee for this service is $25.00. Appointments are strongly recommended to ensure a Commissioner of Oaths is available. Contact us at clerks@georgianbluffs.ca or 519-376-2729 ext. 922 to arrange an appointment.
The Commissioner is not responsible for the content of the affidavit - that is the responsibility of the person whose signature is being commissioned. You must understand the details of what you are signing and their correctness.
The Township reserves the right to refuse any document not listed here or covered in this policy.
