The Township of Georgian Bluffs has declared a significant weather event due to forecasted and/or observed weather conditions.

Due to current and forecast weather conditions, the Georgian Bluffs Administration Office will close at 1:00 p.m. today, Monday, January 19, 2026.

As you plan to warm up by a winter bonfire, or start thinking about spring yard clean-up, Georgian Bluffs and the Inter-Township Fire Department are reminding everyone that burn permits must be renewed annually. All active permits expired on December 31, 2025, and a valid 2026 permit is required before any open-air burning takes place.

Waste Management has confirmed that all residents who reported missed waste pickups from Wednesday, January 14 will be collected tomorrow, Friday, January 16.
