Georgian Bluffs residents can now enjoy a brand-new playground at Kilsyth Park, adjacent to the Derby Community Centre. This exciting addition aims to provide inclusive play opportunities for children of all abilities.

The Township of Georgian Bluffs would like to remind everyone about the importance of recycling right to keep our community clean and green. Recently, you may have received a notice about oversized containers and uncollected contents at your curbside. 

Georgian Bluffs Township announces the launch of a comprehensive ATV rider safety campaign aimed at ensuring the safety of visitors and residents while preserving the Township's environment. The campaign, conducted in collaboration with the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), will commence in July and continue throughout the summer season.

The Township of Georgian Bluffs is excited to launch Engage GB, a new tool that provides you with the opportunity to share your thoughts and ideas on upcoming community projects.

As of Friday July 7^th, the Township of Georgian Bluffs will begin the annual dust suppressant application program on gravel roads across the community.

Applying the calcium chloride dust suppressant to gravel roads helps reduce the amount of dust generated from passing vehicles during the dry summer months.

The Township of Georgian Bluffs was deeply saddened to learn about the recent incidents in our region where hateful and discriminatory letters were sent to individuals within our 2SLGBTQIA+ communities. Council would like to emphasize that these actions are completely unacceptable and do not reflect the values of our inclusive and diverse community.

Please be advised that Somers Street in Georgian Bluffs will be closed daily between 27^th Street and 30^th Street from Tuesday, July 4^th to Thursday, July 6, 2023, weather permitting.

The road will be closed, allowing local traffic only, between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. as excavation work is underway.

The Township of Georgian Bluffs is forming a Short-Term Accommodations (STA) Working Group and is seeking community members to actively participate in this important initiative. This group will provide valuable insight that will shape Council decisions.

Grey County will removing Hazardous trees on Grey Road 17B between Youngs Drive and Alpha Street.

Grey Road 17B will be CLOSED from 13^th Street to Alpha Street with local traffic access to Young’s drive from 7:30am – 4:30pm July 5^th 2023.

Please be advised that the Township of Georgian Bluffs administrative office will be closed on Monday, July 3^rd for the Canada Day holiday.

The office will be open on Friday, June 30^th for regular hours from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
