Georgian Bluffs has developed a Draft Corporate Climate Action Plan (CorCAP) to help guide the municipality as it seeks to further reduce its environmental impact. Climate change is a pressing global issue that affects us all, and we want to hear from the community on how you want your municipality to respond.

The Township of Georgian Bluffs is actively examining the management of Short-Term Accommodations (STAs) within the community and is seeking feedback from residents and accommodation operators to inform decision-making.

As of Friday July 7^th, the Township of Georgian Bluffs will begin the annual dust suppressant application program on gravel roads across the community.

Applying the calcium chloride dust suppressant to gravel roads helps reduce the amount of dust generated from passing vehicles during the dry summer months.

Please be advised that Somers Street in Georgian Bluffs will be closed daily between 27^th Street and 30^th Street from Tuesday, July 4^th to Thursday, July 6, 2023, weather permitting.

The road will be closed, allowing local traffic only, between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. as excavation work is underway.

The Township of Georgian Bluffs is forming a Short-Term Accommodations (STA) Working Group and is seeking community members to actively participate in this important initiative. This group will provide valuable insight that will shape Council decisions.
