Construction work has officially begun on the Washroom Renovation Project at the Shallow Lake Community Centre & Ball Diamond. These upgrades are designed to improve accessibility, functionality, and overall user experience for residents and visitors who use the facilities throughout the year.

Residents and motorists are advised that construction work for the Kemble Culvert Replacement Project is now underway in Kemble.

The intersection of Kemble Rock Road and Concession 20 will be closed to through traffic starting Thursday, July 9, and remain closed until early September 2026. Local access will be maintained for residents and emergency services, and detour signage will be in place. The official detour route can be found on the Township’s Capital Projects webpage at georgianbluffs.ca/capitalprojects, and on Municipal511.

Please be advised that the Public Hearing for Consent Applications B10/26 and B11/26, originally scheduled to be considered at the Committee of Adjustment meeting on June 16, 2026, has been rescheduled.

In accordance with the public health and safety exception to the cosmetic pesticide ban, The County of Grey, Municipality of Meaford, Township of Southgate and the Township of Georgian Bluffs intend to use pesticide to control noxious weeds, general broadleaf weeds, and brush along selected rural county and municipal roadsides.

Take Notice that the Council of the Township of Georgian Bluffs will hold a public meeting on May 6, 2026 at 5pm in Council Chambers to consider the adoption of a New Official Plan under Section 17 of the Planning Act.

Please be advised that the Public Hearing scheduled for this evening, March 18, 2026, regarding Zoning By-law Amendment Application Z-02-26 (Kinsale Investments Ltd.) has been cancelled.

Please be advised that on Tuesday, March 3rd, 2026, between 7:30 AM and 4:00 PM, operators will be conducting essential repairs to the water distribution system located on Ishwar Drive.

Please be advised that Hydro One will be closing a section of Sideroad 6, from Concession 7 to Grey Road 3, on Saturday, November 29, from 6:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. to complete hydro pole replacements.

Sidewalk replacement work is underway in two areas of the Township. Sidewalks in the following locations will be closed for the remainder of the week while repairs are completed:

• North side of Highway 6 & 21 (Sunset Strip), west of The Bowling Alley
• South side of Cobble Beach Drive, between Algoma Crescent and McLeese Drive
