Georgian Bluffs has lowered flags to half-mast at the Township Office and Shallow Lake Arena to honour the lives of three local students who tragically passed away in a motor vehicle collision near Durham on Tuesday, November 12.

Georgian Bluffs will lower flags to half-mast at the Township Office and Shallow Lake Arena in recognition of Indigenous Veterans Day on Saturday, November 8, and Remembrance Day on Tuesday, November 11.

Sidewalk replacement work is underway in two areas of the Township. Sidewalks in the following locations will be closed for the remainder of the week while repairs are completed:

• North side of Highway 6 & 21 (Sunset Strip), west of The Bowling Alley
• South side of Cobble Beach Drive, between Algoma Crescent and McLeese Drive

Georgian Bluffs Council has appointed Ejaye McComb to fill the vacant Council seat left by former Councillor Ryan Thompson, who stepped down in September to become the Township’s new Chief Administrative Officer.

As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and reliable water supply, the Ontario Clean Water Agency will be conducting annual fire hydrant flushing and testing from October 15, 2025 to November 30, 2025.

Get your costumes ready! Georgian Bluffs is bringing the Halloween spirit to the Derby Arena in Kilsyth with a fun-filled Halloween Movie Night on Friday, October 24. The evening includes trick-or-treating, community displays, and a screening of the Halloween classic Hocus Pocus — all free to attend.
