2026 Sidewalk Reconstruction Program

The Township of Georgian Bluffs is investing $100,000 in sidewalk improvements through the 2026 Sidewalk Improvement Program. This project is funded through the Ontario Community Infrastructure Fund (OCIF).

Construction is scheduled to begin in July 2026 and is expected to be completed by the end of September 2026, weather permitting.

Project Details

The project includes sidewalk replacement and construction at the following locations:

Location:
- Kilsyth (Grey Road 5): Approximately 410 metres of sidewalk replacement and construction.
- Highway 6 & 21 Corridor (Sunset Strip): Approximately 50 metres of sidewalk replacement and construction.
Project Status: Works are anticipated to commence shortly.
Estimated Completion: September, 2026.

These improvements will enhance pedestrian safety, accessibility, and connectivity within the Township's communities.
