As spring weather approaches, Georgian Bluffs is preparing for potential challenges related to the melting snow. The high snowpack this season has resulted in drainage ditches and culverts becoming blocked in some areas, and if we experience rapid melting, particularly in combination with spring rainfall, localized flooding may occur.
Weight restrictions of 5 tonne per axle will be implemented on Township roads in Georgian Bluffs starting Tuesday, March 4, 2025, for the spring season. These restrictions will remain in effect until May 1, 2025 or until conditions allow for the restrictions to be removed.
