Georgian Bluffs is commemorating the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation on September 30 by flying the Every Child Matters flag throughout the month of September. Flying the flag symbolizes the Township's ongoing support for truth, reconciliation, and remembrance.

Georgian Bluffs is excited to announce that the highly successful FoodCycler Program is back, with 100 new units now available for purchase.

In 2023, Georgian Bluffs partnered with Food Cycle Science to introduce this innovative indoor composting technology to the community, helping to divert food waste from landfills.

Recently, you may have received a notice about oversized containers or overweight garbage bags which resulted in uncollected items at your curbside. This notice is simply a reminder of the rules that are already in place, ensuring that everyone's waste is collected safely and efficiently.

On August 23, 2024, head over to Kemble Athletic Fields to watch "The Fall Guy," and on August 30, 2024, join us at Shallow Lake Arena for "Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire." Gates open at 7:00 PM, and movies will start at dusk. 

As the due date for the first installment of the 2024 Final Tax Bill approaches on August 24^th, remember there are many ways to pay your tax bill.

These improvements will enhance the quality and safety of our roads for pedestrians and vehicles. We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we complete these important projects.

The Inter Township Fire Department responded to a distress call on August 12, 2023, at Spirit Valley Trail in Bognor, Ontario, to rescue a dog that had fallen into a 25-foot well. The dog, named Nala, accidentally leapt over a fence surrounding the well at approximately 6:00 p.m., leaving her owners in a state of shock and concern.

Please be advised that due to a staffing issue on August 12, 2024, Waste Management was unable to complete the full pickup route in some areas of the Township.

Georgian Bluffs is excited to announce the upcoming installation of Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Stations at several locations across the Township. These stations will be situated in public spaces including the Shallow Lake Arena, Sarawak Family Park, and the Township Administrative Offices. Additional chargers will be installed at community centres and other public spaces over the coming months.
