Georgian Bluffs invites you to two exciting Family Movie Nights this August! Gather your loved ones and join us for fun-filled evenings under the stars, featuring exciting new films that are sure to entertain audiences of all ages. On August 23, 2024, head over to Kemble Athletic Fields to watch "The Fall Guy," and on August 30, 2024, join us at Shallow Lake Arena for "Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire." Gates open at 7:00 PM, and movies will start at dusk. 

As the due date for the first installment of the 2024 Final Tax Bill approaches on August 24^th, remember there are many ways to pay your tax bill.

These improvements will enhance the quality and safety of our roads for pedestrians and vehicles. We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we complete these important projects.

The Inter Township Fire Department responded to a distress call on August 12, 2023, at Spirit Valley Trail in Bognor, Ontario, to rescue a dog that had fallen into a 25-foot well. The dog, named Nala, accidentally leapt over a fence surrounding the well at approximately 6:00 p.m., leaving her owners in a state of shock and concern.

Please be advised that due to a staffing issue on August 12, 2024, Waste Management was unable to complete the full pickup route in some areas of the Township.

Georgian Bluffs is excited to announce the upcoming installation of Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Stations at several locations across the Township. These stations will be situated in public spaces including the Shallow Lake Arena, Sarawak Family Park, and the Township Administrative Offices. Additional chargers will be installed at community centres and other public spaces over the coming months.

Please be advised that a small number of properties on Grey Road 1 between Wiarton and Zion Church Road had their waste collection missed on Monday, August 5.

Pack a picnic, grab your camera and embark on a self guided waterfall tour in the Township of Georgian Bluffs. The Bluffs is fortunate to be home to three beautiful waterfalls, Inglis Falls, Indian Falls and Jones Falls. These three flows are relatively close to each other, and your desired route may vary depending on where your adventure starts and finishes or any other stops you plan to make in between. Here’s an idea of how a self guided waterfall tour in Georgian Bluffs might look.

TAKE NOTICE THAT a Special County of Grey Joint All Councils meeting will be held jointly with the County of Grey and different municipalities.

Please be advised about a temporary disruption on the Georgian Bluffs Rail Trail due to maintenance work in the area. Crews will be replacing hydro utility poles in the forest region near the trail, and require access to the trail as the work is completed.
